Walk through ornate ironwork gates into our delightful Regency and Victorian garden and discover a green and pleasant idyll. There’s even a pair of peacocks waiting to strut their stuff just for you.
Which corner of this quirky garden will be claimed as your favourite? Will it be the brightly decorated Indian Ice Cream Parlour or the tiny thatched Swiss Cottage? Perhaps the Grotto with its tunnel of what looks like volcanic rock?
A wonderful job has been done in the restoration of Swiss Garden. The garden has been designed to lead the visitor to viewpoints and vistas with lakes, bridges, follies, and sculptures.

A delight to walk around
The Swiss Gardens are a delight to walk around especially when the sun is out. Easy to walk around with made up pathways with lovely views of woodland and lakeside areas. Lots of open spaces for kids to let their hair down. Highly recommend.
A great place to visit
Such a great place to visit for anyone who is interested in old planes, flying machines, cars and even buses! Just worth visiting for the oldest flying machine! We spent a lovely couple of hours here, enjoyed a walk in the gardens as well and saw a beautiful rainbow as a bonus.
A beautiful place
What a beautiful place. The gardens are spectacular and such a great place to spend the day.
